Year 9 - 2015
Digitally Enhanced Learning for 2015 - Year 9
Thank you to all those parents that have filled in the Digitally Enhanced Learning form for Year 9 classes at MHC for 2015. We have had an excellent response. Thank you also for the feedback that you have given as it is helping to develop our future communication and the development of our learning programmes.
The next stage in our consultation is to have a meeting for all parents of Year 9 students for 2015. The meeting is not just for parents who have handed in their forms, everybody is welcome to come and find out a bit more. This meeting will give you information on the benefits of using digital technology for learning and of having your own device to learn on. We will endeavour to answer questions that you given us feedback on such as class composition, security, stationary needs and handwriting. The technological experts from Cyclone Computers will be there and will be able to show you recommended devices and ask questions. The date is being finalised with Cyclone Computers and is likely to be in Week 1 of Term 4. Keep an eye on the notices for more information.
In the meantime please have a look at the website that we are developing on BYOD at MHC. The website is mhc-byod.weebly.com
It is still being constructed and we welcome feedback.
We look forward to seeing everybody at our parent information evening early next term.
